Andrew Conner, 5 months old!

Happy 5 months, Andrew! :)

Today, my son turned 5 months old. He has always been the sweetest, easiest baby in the world. The biggest "problem" was that he just wanted to eat all. the. time. He's better now. I REALLY can't complain.

He came home eating every 3 hrs, then with reflux, they told me to feed every 2 hours, so he got used to it. oops. He continued at 2 hrs for ever. Just recently, he's started to go 4-5 hrs but then we went on vacation on a road trip to Port Aransas, and well, when youre on the road, any type of schedule goes out the window and all bets are off. So he ate here and there and pretty much back to 3hrs bt feedings.

Now were back and he's working on being back to "normal"!

At 5 months old, Andrew:
eats 5 oz of formula, generally every 4hrs or so
falls asleep about 30 min after eating. He doesnt really have a set schedule or a set napping time, I just know after he eats, he'll be asleep within a half hour. He's VERY predictable!
eats half a container of stage one foods...he's had rice cereal, peas and green beans so far
still sleeps in his miracle blanket, swaddled
still rides in his infant carrier (which is getting entirely too heavy!) at his 4mo checkup he was 16lbs!
Sleeps from abotu 10 or so until about 6:30 or 7 and mostly wakes up once, around 3:30 or so to eat.
JUST started sleeping in his crib last night. He slept there until he woke up to eat at night, then spent the rest of the night in our bed.
likes talking and babbling a lot
is drooling like there is no tomorrow....teeth better come soon!
is a VERY happy, smiley, friendly, social baby
has SUCH strong legs!!! He'll hold his entire body weight up on his own, I just have to hold his hands for balance!!!
can grab objects
is starting to hold his bottle
recognizes his bottle and seriously freaks out with excitement when he sees it!!!
goes from happy to hungry in .25 seconds (so you BETTER have a bottle handy!)
can sit up in the "tripod" position for half a second, but then falls, often doing a faceplant if I dont have a hand on him.
still falls asleep in the swing, swaddled when tired
loves his exersaucer
likes to grab his feet, especially when in the bumbo sitter
can hold his head up while on his tummy, but isnt really a fan
will get scared of sudden loud noises
laughs when tickled
can roll over from back to front and sometimes front to back, but most times, he'll play on his tummy till he gets tired of it, and cries for someone to turn him back over!

Pretty soon, he'll be sitting up on his own. Not sure when he'll crawl; Madison didnt crawl until 8 months, but Katelyn took off right at 6 months!!!!
