Night-Night

I was taking Katelyn to bed tonight, and as she crawled up the stairs (wont let me hold her...Miss Independent has to do it herself!) I told her, "Say night-night to daddy..." and she said "ni-ni" or somethign close to it. I could tell she was trying to say "night-night". We're continuing to repeat things to her a lot and sort of make sounds for her to repeat. The speech pathologist is coming out on the 16th to evaluate Katelyn to see if she needs to add herself to the plan. If she thinks not, then we'll just continue with the plan Amy has in place for us. Since we met with her last, I've noticed that Katelyn will repeat sounds like "zoom, zoom" when playing with toys. Her goal is to immitate sounds, and begin that back and forth of conversation.
